The Capitol Dome is an awe inspiring sight in itself, but at night time with the lights shinning on, it sparkles like a true diamond of democracy. The important decisions made under that dome have worldwide repercussions. I wanted to show that connection to the world. That is why the sky is filled with the rays of light coming from the Capitol Dome connecting and filling the sky.
