The view of San Francisco during Christmas holidays is really magical. After a Christmas shopping excursion in the city I came across a picture of the city that depicted that exact Christmas lights view. The contours of the buildings by the waterfront are all lit up. It is very festive atmosphere in the city around Christmas time. I wanted to capture that in this painting and of course the hilly streets of San Francisco!
